NeoReach’s Creator Earnings Report finds Over 50% of Creators Make Under a Living Wage
[Orlando, Florida, July 15, 2025]
NeoReach, a leading provider of creator economy solutions, published its annual ‘Creator Earnings’ report. This report discusses the state of the creator economy. It is using the thoughts and experiences of those working within the creator economy, the influencers themselves.
Yearly, NeoReach conducts a survey sent out to thousands upon thousands of creators worldwide. This year, over 3,000 creators offered their insights into anything and everything regarding influencers and influencer marketing. From monetization trends to the TikTok ban, NeoReach ensured that no stone was left uncovered.
The Creator Earnings Report highlighted that 56.55% of creators that identified themselves as full-time are making below the living wage. Importantly, this statistic has grown significantly from their Creator Earnings report last year, where 48% of creators were making below the living wage. It is important to note, however, that between 2023 and 2024, the amount of creators that identified themselves as full-time creators also exploded. 13.9% more creators identified as full-time. This indicates an increased interest in creating and increased prevalence of smaller creators.
Additionally, using years’ past data points, NeoReach was able to note a consistent pattern among creator monetization that they have coined “The Monetization Barrier.” NeoReach states that a threshold of $15,000 annually separates creators struggling to monetize from those able to scale successfully. Crossing this threshold as a creator indicated a turning point in their career. A higher income and greater visibility mark this turning point.
NeoReach notes that, “With the monetization barrier clearly defined, the data shows a stark reality: many creators will not earn more than $15K annually from content creation if they maintain their current strategy.” With that mind, NeoReach suggests working with influencers.com, a creator-first platform built to help influencers turn influence into income.
Creator’s voices are also shared throughout this report. This allows those that work in the creator economy such as marketers and talent managers to really hear what creators have to say. Creators were surveyed about their biggest challenges and how they really feel about the potential for a TikTok ban. NeoReach’s findings are nothing less than eye-opening!
NeoReach’s dedication to publishing this report annually underlines their hard work and care towards the health and well-being of the creator economy. Collecting and publishing these findings helps the creator economy by being able to analyze what has been working and what may not be working at all, and strategizing accordingly.
